We look for a candidate that:
- Have minimum 2-3 years of experience with Shipping, preferably from a GMP/ GDP environment within the Pharmaceutical or Medico industry
- Have a relevant education within supply chain / logistics.
- Experience with international shipping.
- Have flair for working within Excel, ERP and BI tools, Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience would be an advantage.
- Are fluent in Danish and English both verbally and in writing.
As a person you are flexible, structured, able to multi-task and able to remain calm and professional even under pressure.
- A persistent pioneer with hands-on mindset and we-can-do attitude.

The role as shipping Coordinator

- Ensure timely and accurate quality delivery of products to customers.
- Support continuous improvement of processes, performance, and robustness.
- Responsibility for daily coordination, document preparation, and monitoring of all types of shipments i.e., Commercial distribution, Samples, Intermediate products and more.
- Handling general administrative tasks related to shipping in Excel and ERP system.
- Review of shipping documentation incl. temperature read-outs.
- Issuing and providing of shipping documents in accordance with customer and receiving country request.
- Dealing with inquiries where we do not have all the answers from the start.
Boost our team
You will become part of our Customer Service, Shipping & Distribution (CSS&D) team within Bavarian Nordic’s Supply Chain Management (SCM) department. CSS&D currently consists of 19 dedicated employees located in Denmark, Switzerland, Germany, and US. We support each other in our daily work while serving our customers world-wide as ‘one team, one goal’.
The work will bring you in close daily collaboration with four Shipping Coordinators, but you will also be working closely with several other parts of the organization, including Planning, Commercial, Manufacturing Development, and Quality Assurance as well as external stakeholders.
You will report to the Snr. Manager CSS&D located in Denmark.
