This is the role
As the Performance Improvement Manager for Europe, you hold a pivotal role within the LyondellBasell Value Enhancement Program (VEP) and other Performance Improvement efforts that drive the realization of LyondellBasell's strategic objectives. You are enabling and engaging manufacturing sites and corporate units to translate strategic vision into projects and initiatives, leveraging continuous performance improvement embedded in Operational Excellence processes. In this capacity, your role is predominantly facilitative, bolstering the development of continuous Performance Improvement and Operational Excellence. You will provide coaching and leadership to VEP and other Performance Improvement resources, building capability to advance the application of the Performance Improvement Operational Excellence processes.
Serving as "Site Focal Point," you will support VEP for assigned European sites. You will also act as the primary contact for European members within the Global Performance Improvement Network. It will be your responsibility to cultivate Performance Improvement Operational Excellence and advocate for its implementation across all organizational levels. Additionally, you will be tasked with crafting novel Performance Improvement processes as required by leadership.
- Provide coaching and leadership to VEP and other Performance Improvement resources;
- Ensure continuous performance improvement processes are is applied consistently at sites and global organizations;
- Assess and improve maturity of continuous performance improvement processes;
- Act as “Site Focal Point” for assigned sites to support the Value Enhancement Program (VEP). Accountabilities in this role;
- Act as focal point for European members of the Global Performance Improvement Network;
- Develop continuous Performance Improvement Operational Excellence Model and champion this at all levels of the organization;
- Develop new Performance Improvement processes and tools as requested by leadership and implement through change management;

This is what you bring
- Bachelor's degree;
- 10+ years' experience in improvement projects;
- Demonstrated coaching and facilitative leadership skills;
- Ability to work under minimal supervision;
- 5 years of management/supervisor experience is preferred;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Powerpoint, Excel and Teams;
- Experience with continuous performance improvement processes embedded in Operational Excellence;
- Knowledge of industry performance improvement practices, for example: Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, Agile;
- Fluent in English.
